Kev is at work (He had to go back in and fill the pool a bit) and I am here with hte evil children. I speedy cleaned teh livingroom to find my dead cell phone during a fit of ARRGGGGGGG. I need to do it more often.

Today was day 1 of church youth retreat at the hotel. It was a ridiculasly easy day. I had 12 rooms. Forst thing I went through and got their wet towels and other bathroom stock. then I was informed I had to gt the glasses too. Thus my second trip through. Trip 3 was making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Then lunch. (I started at 10 and lunch was 11:30. Good timing.)

Right after lunch I was sent to held fold in laundry with Kevs mom. Thanks to the aparently shit job I do with big towels I was demoted to bathmats and hand towels. After I folded a bit I was told to take towels and finish my stays. And so I did. Then I helped a few people and was done by 10 after 2. 2:30 we left.

Then Kev and I took the children to the mall to pick up my Twilight DVD. We paused at Coles and I bought 2 charlaine harris books that were on sale. They are from her other series. I checked it online and they are book 2 and 3 so tuesday I am going to see about getting the first. :D

IVE BEEN SOOOOO LAZZZYYYYY.

Okay so its been a week sue me. Im sure I am only hearding it becuase Kim blogged after 2 months but WHATEVER.

So Friday Night my parents took the chidren (Both DUNDUNDUNDDDD) and I went to Henir's girlsnight party. SO fricking fun. Drank wine, little girl talk.

Bought books 5 and 6 in the Sookie Stackhouse books. 1 more to go then I have to wait until MAYYYYYY. ACKKKKKK.

This is what I do these days while not blogging... read. alot.

Waiting for house to come on.

Deb and I rocked yesterday. We went and picked up a record played/ cabinet to surprise Kev. She and I singlehandedly carried it to the freestyle, across my not shoveled yard adn UP THE STAIRS using GIRLPOWER. (I feel like I have been giving away free handjobs at the Pub today though, wow sore forearms.) When Kev ghot home he was happy surprised. But then we were irritated surprised to find that the platter on the turntable didnt spin. Talked to kevs brother the record collector and he said it sounded like the belt and after more looking and some onlines search I agree'd. Called henri, she called Bill and in a few days her knight in shining Cyrus the virus will come riding in to fix it. GO BILL.

Waiting to hear when I get to work again. SO MUCH FUN. (seriously, you try being stuck home with my demons... scratch that.... Samara is a GOOD CHILD (for the most part)... Donavan is the Demon.

And Now to facebook for a few then finding a snack for House.

I ahve nothing to blog right now. I am tired but cant get to sleep lately. I go to bed and lay there trying not to keep kevin up for a very long time. I finally pass out only to be rudely awakened a few unrested hours later by Donavan's determination not to allow me to sleep in.

I am so ready for a vacation from my kiddies.

Going away teh 4th and 5th will be nice but Im a bit more excited about Kev's work party the 19th.

Snowy Day

It snowed again last night.

Super snow.

Half of me wants to that the kids out to play for a little bit.... the other half is bitchslapping that half and screaming, "LEAVE ME INSIDE." I am queen of good intentions. The kids owuld love to go outside but I would be cold and bored in no time at all. Donavan would go nuts and try to escape or drown in teh snow and drive me nuts. Samara would want to stay out all day. I am too scared of all the ways a child could die outside in teh winter and could never leave her outside by herself. Thats the shitty thing about living upstairs.

I ahve a great and easy recipe for pretzals but i dont know if I have enough flour... or any flour.

Kev was supposed to work this morning but sherry first called to tell him to cab up to work and tehn a few minutes later she called to say dont come in, shell call him in a few hours. Noone could get to work. He works at teh wandelyn which is just outside of town.

Its Been Awhile

I havent had much to say lately. LOL.

took the kidsto the maggies place halloween pary today. It wasnt bad. VERY crowded. Donavan was SO FREAKING CUTE as Yoda and Samara was a beautiful mermaid.

Did some dishes today. Yep. I am an overachiever.

Donavan is sittign in teh toybox playing with a barbie and samara is waxing poetic about a sunfllower that died at my motehr's house. while I work on a Pogo badge. I think my neighbors downstairs are fighting (she said she was going to kick him out after the weekend so maybe?) or theyre laugh? maybe? The upstairs neighbors kept kevin up last night again with their outrageously loud music. a day in the life and all i guess. ive been up foir an hour and a half and i havent done anythign but make the kiddies toast. I finished my book last night so today I shall be searching for another one to read. Ive been on a historical romace kick lately. its a guilty pleasure. The men are so big and strong and the women (in johanna lindsay's books at least) defy convention by being absolutly strong and independant.

Ive been trying to get ahold of a friend of mine for a week now. GRR. LOL. I feel like i am bugging her or somethign when i call. its hard to say if she even knows ive been calling. LOL. her man doesnt give messages and aparently he is the type who RUNS to the phone to see who has called.

I guess ill go and call her again LMAO.

I HATE NOT SLEEPING IN MY OWN BED!

That said, Last night was teh second night in a row that I didnt get to sleep in my own bed at all. Bed time comes and then Donavan wakes up like clockwork.

Kev is working today so my plan is to change some kid's rooms around. Maybe if Donavan is in the back bedroom then when he wakes up at bedtime he'll be able to cry himself back to sleep without being too loud for kevin. I will put the baby monitor in there and one out here so I'll be able to hear him. Samara can have he big bedroom. Then she will HAVE to sleep there. My only real reservation about giving her that room is how close it is to my bed... I didnt want any chance of her waking up and coming out ;) But she is gone on sleepovers sometimes and I can wait for a sleepover to be noisy at night ;)
So I am off to check Facebook right quick then my little dude and I ahve some work ahead of us.

Canada Day

I love canada day in amherst. It is looking cool and over cast out so im hoping it gets sunnier maybe? Ill need to steal my batteries away from kev so i can take my camera and get shots of samara having fun and eating cotton candy. Hopefully someone that I know and LIKE will be uptown or itll just be me and the kiddies. Fun but i do enjoy my adult perspective... ;)
